Route quality depends on your ISP, location and the game destination. AtlasGG does not guarantee a specific ping reduction.

Path selection

Direct or multi-hop.

The shortest-looking path is not automatically the best internet route. AtlasGG exposes several supported options so you can compare what your connection is actually doing.

DIRECT

Direct → Singapore

Use a Singapore exit without chaining AtlasGG Australian relays.

WEST

Perth → Singapore

Use Perth as the Australian transit point before the Singapore exit.

CHAIN

Melbourne → Perth → Singapore

Use an Australian relay chain when that measured route makes sense for your connection.

What affects ping?

Distance is only part of it.

Transit providers, peering, congestion and your ISP's route can all change the result. AtlasGG gives you another route choice, but no service can guarantee a fixed ping improvement for every connection.

Use the current route estimates as a starting point, then choose the path that performs best for your connection.
